Having met Hui Qi Chair, Ms Chen, in London just a couple of weeks ago, it was a great privilege to visit the company’s brand-new factory in Xi’an City.
Hui Qi is a leading manufacturer of electrical power system solutions and a major supplier to China’s National Railway system. During our visit, Mr Zhang Zhixing, General Manager, showed us around the new facility and then led a discussion on potential areas of collaboration between Hui Qi and Enertechnos.
Of particular interest was the potential application of our CTS cable technology at a 10kV rating to support the efficient delivery of power to the railway network. The scale of China’s railway infrastructure provides an exciting context for considering how grid-enhancing technologies can support the efficient use of existing power infrastructure.
Both companies will continue to work together to take this process forward, and we are excited by the potential this collaboration could offer.
