It was a great privilege for our CEO, Dominic Quennell, to be invited to speak at the ICWPT Conference in Urumqi on Sunday, 9th August. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to meet leaders from China’s Wireless Power Transfer community and share how Enertechnos’ and Electric Green’s patented technology can deliver more power, more efficiently and at lower cost.
A key area of development is the integration of EV charging with the electrical grid, enabling EV batteries to become a distributed energy storage asset rather than just a source of demand. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), the total energy storage capacity of EVs in the Chinese market reached 769.7 GWh in 2025, an increase of 40.4% year on year. Bi-directional V2G wireless power transfer has the potential to provide much easier access to this significant energy storage resource, and through our work with partners across China, we are helping demonstrate this potential in the future energy management system.ro
A special thank you to Weidong Chen for the invitation to speak and for bringing together such an important group of leaders and innovators in the field.
