Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging

CTS technology allows for scaleable and cost-effective wireless EV charging infrastructure.

Why Wireless?

Electric Green, an Enertechnos Holdings company, has developed smart, scalable and cost-effective wireless EV charging infrastructure. The solutions will drive EV mass adoption because they are easy to use, deploy and manage.

Nearly all charging today is done by plugging the vehicle into a charger with a cable. Does it work? Yes. But it could be so much better.

That’s why Electric Green is on a mission to make wireless charging infrastructure as accessible as possible so everyone can benefit.

How does Wireless
Charging Work?

Instead of transferring power to the vehicle battery via a cable, wireless systems use induction charging to achieve the same outcome.

High-frequency alternating current (AC) is supplied to a groundpad, producing a magnetic field. This is picked up by a carpad on the vehicle’s underside. The carpad coil is connected to the existing EV system feeding the vehicle battery. The system allows discharging the battery to provide power to the grid (V2G), office or house (V2X).

charging work?

Instead of transferring power to the vehicle battery via a cable, wireless systems use induction charging to achieve the same thing. High frequency AC current is supplied to a groundpad (primary coil) which produces a magnetic field. This is picked up by a carpad (secondary coil) located on the underside of the vehicle. Carpad coil is connected to the existing EV system feeding the vehicle battery. The system allows to discharge the battery powering the network or a house.
