Enertechnos has today responded to Ofgem’s consultation on the next RIIO-ED2 price control stressing the need for the regulator to ensure that tackling energy waste and losses is at the heart of distribution network operators’ strategies. Ofgem must encourage and incentivise companies to use innovative technologies to tackle losses and invest ahead of demand, or risk the push to decarbonise and leave consumers overpaying.
