Career highlights:

Berin Iglesias Art made a strategic decision to expand. As Finance Director played key role in setting up new offices in Monaco,  Dubai  and Tashkent.  Performed  market  analysis  and built relationships  with key stakeholders  to elaborate effective regional business strategies. Evaluated and interpreted local legislations and tax laws to build financial strategy focusing  on  tax  optimization.  Developed  regional  policies  and  controls  to ensure  regulatory  compliance  and  create efficiencies.  Set management  infrastructure  including  people and systems,  putting in place relevant  KPIs to drive the revenue of the business.  Succeeded in setting up 3 new offices, which launched 6 new shows in the first year and met the target for profitability of 20%.

Secured necessary funding for 2 investment projects. Supported all commercial decisions and guided critical negotiations with third party. Developed and implemented  internal control procedures, contributing  to company costs reduction of 15% in a year. Designed  new systems  to provide  low cost/high  value solutions.  Continuously  focused  on improvement  of process integrity. Reduced average report preparation time from 2 weeks to 3-4 days. A newly established oil trading company BNK UK had a strategic plan to double turnover every six months. As Financial Manager  set up finance  function  capable  of effectively  supporting  rapid expansion.  Implemented  quarterly budgets and cash flow forecasts to manage  liquidity  and optimize required working  capital.  Negotiated and arranged credit lines  up  to  EUR  250M,  enabling  company  turnover  increase  by  180%.  Identified   FX  risk  exposure  and  utilized appropriate  FX instruments.  Produced  consolidated  reports  in line with IFRS and presented  for the board,  providing insides  and  explaining  correlations.  Led  internal  and  external  audit  in the  company  and  subsidiaries.  Succeeded  to support business growth from EUR 300M to EUR 3.5BN over 4 years.
