Ian recently retired as research and development strategy manager at the United Kingdom’s National Grid. He previously held posts at London Electricity and the Central Electricity Generating Board. Ian has over forty experience of delivering expertise in electricity network management to industry, government and regulatory bodies.

Ian’s role at Enertechnos is to lead system planning with other team members for installations in Distribution Network Operators. He is presently engaged, with Michael Partridge, in developing the definitive handbook for Distribution Network Operators.
