Charles has over thirty-nine years of experience, with thirty-three years in leadership roles, twenty of which have been at board level in energy companies and information and advisory consultancies. His roles demonstrate a proven track record in the leadership and management of ‘innovation’, ‘growth’ and ‘value capture’ in the oil, gas and energy sectors and in applying this to large complex capital projects including retention of value throughout their full life cycle. He is considered an industry expert in business development, energy strategy, gas, heavy oil and project development and has provided critical advice to many international governments, energy companies and oil and gas companies of all sizes. Whilst at IHS he served as advisor to the World Bank and developed many country and regional energy master plans for various governments and multi-national companies.
