With a background in market research, banking and local government, Shaheena brings a wealth of experience in managing teams, with a focus on detailed analysis, financial and regulatory compliance and accounting. She manages day-to-day operations at Enertechnos, enabling the rest of the management team and the engineers to focus on growing the business.

Michael Partridge

Electrical Engineer - Grid Support

Michael is a highly qualified and hugely experienced electrical engineer with 35 years’ experience in the field. As well as his electrical engineering qualifications, Michael also has an MBA which he passed with a distinction for this dissertation ‘Analysing Power Failures and Integrated Corporate Strategy on Team Effectiveness’. Michael has worked on a global basis, trouble-shooting existing power grid installations. His recent work includes projects in Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Scotland, Iraq, South Africa and England.

Ashkan D Hajiloo

Electrical/Electronic Research Engineer

Ashkan has been an active contributor towards the research, design, optimisation and testing of the CTS cable and other prototype designs. He has been a core member of the engineering team responsible for conducting the comparative test programme using CTS-enabled cable (two versions) and conventional cable under various testing conditions such as high frequency, high voltage and high current. He has contributed towards determining essential tests and experiments to be conducted while compliant with industry standards, analysing data obtained from projects and experiments, documenting results and details of progress in technical and scientific reports. This also extends to the simulation and modelling of power cables and other circuit designs under various testing and operation scenarios on COMSOL, PSpice and MATLAB software.

Dr Yang Yang

Post-Doctoral Research Assistant in Capacitive Transmission Cable

Responsible for power cable assessment based on condition monitoring techniques. Rich experience in R&D in autonomous system in non-destructive testing, condition monitoring and defect diagnosis, including pattern recognition, data analysis and insulation material experiments. Yang has been responsible for running the comparative test programme using CTS-enabled cable (two versions) and conventional cable, and subsequent modelling on COMSOL, MATLAB and DIgSILENT software.

Dr Mansour Salehi-Moghadam

Senior Electrical Engineer

Reporting to the COO, the role is to provide leadership and manage all aspects of electrical design for the company, delivering corporate and operational objectives. The over-arching requirement is to inspire and manage electrical engineering product design and to research, develop and evaluate new electrical cable concepts. This includes: measurement and recording of data from test materials; comparison of performance of new design with conventional design; management of electrical engineering through design inception, manufacturing process regulatory submission and approvals and technical support post certification.

Charles Lucas-Clements

Director of Business Development

Director of Business Development at Enertechnos. Charles has over thirty-nine years of experience, with thirty-three years in leadership roles, twenty of which have been at board level in energy companies and information and advisory consultancies. His roles demonstrate a proven track record in the leadership and management of ‘innovation’, ‘growth’ and ‘value capture’ in the oil, gas and energy sectors and in applying this to large complex capital projects including retention of value throughout their full life cycle.

Ross Jones

Advisory Board Member

Ross is the former Director of The Gerrard Group, appointed in 1986, his main role was as CEO of Gerrard & King, the leading counterparty to the Bank of England in Sterling Money Markets. In 1997 Ross was elected the inaugural Chairman of the London Money Market Association. In 2005, Ross founded JTP Partners LLP, an FSA Regulated business, working with several leading academics focused on Hedge Funds and providing general Management Consultancy.

Andrew Donovan

Advisory Board Member

Andrew is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has 22 years’ experience advising on M&A and capital-raising transactions in the renewable energy and wider utilities and infrastructure sectors. Andrew led Evercore’s renewable energy advisory activities in the UK and Europe for a number of years before leaving in 2016 to set up his own renewables-focused advisory firm. Andrew’s role at Enertechnos is to leverage his extensive contacts in the renewable energy sector and in the distribution network operators to introduce new business opportunities. For example, it was he that made the initial introduction at Board level in Western Power Distribution.

Dr Nick Goddard

Advisory Board Member

Nick trained as both a scientist and an engineer followed by ten years of experience in the oil & gas, power generation, aerospace and defence industries. He has a first class degree in physics from Cambridge University and a PhD in Materials Handling from Imperial College, London. Subsequently Nick worked for eight years in the City as an investment banker. Since 2005, he has worked as an independent consultant specialising in the financing and commercialisation of new technologies. Nick’s role at Enertechnos is to help to develop strategy and tactics to engage with leading developers of renewable energy.

Ian Welch

Advisory Board Member & Technical Advisor

Ian recently retired as research and development strategy manager at the United Kingdom’s National Grid. He previously held posts at London Electricity and the Central Electricity Generating Board. Ian has over forty experience of delivering expertise in electricity network management to industry, government and regulatory bodies. Ian’s role at Enertechnos is to lead system planning with other team members for installations in Distribution Network Operators. He is presently engaged, with Michael Partridge, in developing the definitive handbook for Distribution Network Operators.

Jim Barry

Advisory Board Member

Jim Barry is a qualified engineer, a lawyer and a banker. He has specialised for many years in clean technology finance. Jim has worked, inter alia, for Vestas, the leading Danish based wind turbine manufacturer, Barclays, Dresdner, HBOS and UniCredit. He was also Head of Capital Management at Trinergy, a leading developer and owner of wind farms in Italy and Germany. Jim’s role at Enertechnos is to develop strategies for engagement with renewable energy generators. His unrivalled experience in financing clean energy projects on a global scale has brought to the Company opportunities for high-level engagement with industry sector leaders.

Harry Kenyon-Slaney

Advisory Board Member

Harry is a global FTSE 20 executive with broad and senior operational experience in natural resources, energy, manufacturing and logistics. He is a former Chief Executive of Rio Tinto Energy, and is now a senior advisor at McKinsey & Company. Harry’s role at the company is to make introductions to his extensive contacts in the mining sector. Mining is one of the world’s largest industrial users of low and medium voltage electric cable.

Dr Donald Weir

Advisory Board Member

Dr Donald Weir is presently CEO, Services, at thyssenKrupp. Before then, he was CEO of E.ON Technologies GmbH. His successful career in Landis+Gyr (Switzerland), Siemens and E.ON (Germany) has given him extensive experience of the field of electrical engineering and T&D grids. Donald led the development of the strategy document which guides the Company through to commercialisation of the CTS. Donald’s key role at Enertechnos is to advise on building commercial relationships with European operators of renewable energy generation and distribution networks.

Mark Hardy

Chairman of the Main Board, Enertechnos

Mark is a corporate lawyer and has more than thirty years’ experience in leveraging intellectual property for licensing and royalties. He has also been responsible for building up a succession of businesses in Europe and the US in the biopharma field. Presently he is Company Secretary at UCB, a global biopharma company with activities in forty countries and turnover in 2018 of €4.62 billion. Mark serves as Chairman of the Board and supervises all corporate governance for the Company. As a leading expert in international patent law, he advises the Company on its intellectual property strategy.

Olga Kaliadka

Chief Financial Officer

Olga is a CIMA qualified highly adaptable Finance Director with comprehensive  experience in leading financial and strategic aspects in various  industries  and  geographies  for rapidly  growing  SMEs.  Her experience has added  value  to organisations  through  strategic  thinking  with attention  to  details  and  a hands-on  approach.  She is an independent  problem  solve and a strong  communicator  with  the ability  to  deliver complex messages to a wide range of audiences. Her skills include providing grounded financial support for core strategic decisions. Olga is adept at leading change to enhance financial planning, control and reporting capabilities  to identify areas of improvements,  to protect business  profitability  and to support sustainable  growth. She is an nfluential  leader with robust performance  management,  mobilising multi-functional highly efficient teams to deliver best-in-class finance service and cost-effective solutions.

Gareth O'Brien

Chief Operations Officer

Chief Operations Officer of Enertechnos Holdings Ltd and its various subsidiary companies including Enertechnos Ltd, the group’s primary operating company. Responsible for the research and development programme for the Capacitive Transfer System (CTS) and assisting the CEO with business development and fund raising. As well as direct employees, Enertechnos works with several suppliers, consulting firms and research institutions to execute the CTS development plan and bring the product to the point of commercialisation. Primary ongoing role: manage the tech employees and partner company relationships and ensure that the day-to-day execution of tasks is carried out to ensure Enertechnos remains on plan.

Dominic Quennell

Chief Executive Officer

Chief Executive Officer at Enertechnos Holdings Ltd and its various subsidiary companies including Enertechnos Ltd, the group’s primary operating company. Enertechnos is dedicated to developing and commercialising solutions designed to increase efficiencies in power transmission and distribution in a $90bn per year global business opportunity. Cleaner energy reduces CO2 emissions on a global scale which is the core objective of everything that Enertechnos does. Dominic has led the company and its team of engineers and business development managers since its foundation.
